This workshop was an exploration of the neighbourhood's languages and their unofficial representations. From tags, messages of sports criticism or rebellion, to murals celebrating significant episodes involving notable individuals in the life of the neighbourhood, there was a wealth of speech and dialogue that was listened to and discussed with the help of a small group of participants, as well as through neighbourhood walks and conversations. After becoming acquainted with this existing language, even if only superficially, open discussions were held on what new significations make sense for this place today. This process resulted in a collection of places, as well as messages or symbols that, serving as questions, seek to establish new dialogues between the neighbourhood and the surrounding city.

Colectivo Til was formed in 2015 by individuals from various disciplines who came together with a shared interest in materials and co-creation processes, as well as civic and social intervention through questioning and valuing places. Throughout its journey, the collective has collaborated with a diversity of social and cultural institutions, exploring the boundaries between art, architecture, and education. Whether through temporary installations or participatory and community-based construction processes, the collective's projects invite reflection on the multiple dimensions of public space, encompassing cultural, social, natural, and material aspects. The collective's projects always strive to activate common possibilities within each community and location, fostering knowledge and the invention of material lives, while contributing with a critical attitude that promotes charitable and circular economies. Guided by a hands-on learning approach, an experimental and pedagogical mindset is combined with material processes that become moments of genuine appropriation, exploration, and collective discussion.
