FAQ

What are the restrictions on entering the venue?

The following objects/articles are not allowed to enter the Festival Iminente venue:

 - Dangerous objects (weapons or objects that can serve as a weapon);

 - Glass objects or packaging;

 - Bottles with lids;

 - Animals, with the exception of guide dogs, according to current legislation;

 - Drinks;

 - Food;

 - Professional cameras or filming cameras;

 - Sound recorders;

 - Any object that can be thrown and that represents a danger.

Any restrictions imposed by the Directorate-General of Health on the date of the Festival will also be implemented.

How can I exchange my General Pass for a wristband?

Passes must be exchanged for a wristband on the first day of entry to Festival Iminente, at an exchange point inside the enclosure.

All wristbands will be put on at the moment of the exchange.

If I have a General Pass and I attended the first day, can I exchange my ticket for a wristband on the second day?

No, the exchange must be made on the first day of entry to the Festival.

After the validation of the ticket on the first day of entry, it is no longer valid and the access to the following days is only possible through a wristband.

I bought a General Pass and I am not going on one of the days. Can I give my ticket to another person to go on the day I am not attending?

No. The ticket is personal and non-transferable. At the entrance the ticket is validated and you must have your wristband on when you re-enter.

If you do not have it, you will not be able to enter as the ticket has already been validated on the day of first use.

When the wristband is put on, can I take it off?

No. Any visible damage to the wristband will prevent you from entering.

The wristband functions as a ticket at the entrance to facilitate control.

Therefore, if it is found to be mended or loose, you will not be able to enter the enclosure.

If you have any type of allergy or profession that implies the removal of the wristband, this should be mentioned and proved when placing the wristband on so that a new one can be placed daily.

The wristband to be removed must be presented daily when fitting a new one.

I have been offered a ticket to Festival Iminente, however the ticket is in the name of the person who bought it. Can I enter with this ticket?

Yes, as long as the ticket has not already been used.

Is there a ticket office at the entrance of the venue?

Yes, however tickets for the Festival are always sold out. It is best to buy your ticket in advance here. The on-site ticket office opens at 3 pm.

How do I get to the Festival?

This year Festival Iminente has moved to a new central location in Lisbon. It can be accessed by different means of public transportation. Check the list here.

Can I bring my car to the Festival? Is there parking close to the venue?

We recommend the use of public transport, however there are car parks in the vicinity of the enclosure and the Festival has a park whose access is limited and upon presentation of a valid ticket for the Festival for all occupants of the vehicle.

Can I bring my own food and drink to the Festival?

It is not allowed to bring food or drink into the venue. The Festival has its own food and drink areas with varied offers.

Is there an ATM on the Festival grounds?

There will be no cash machines at the Festival Venue. Payments will be made through a cashless system with the Festival's own card, acquired at the venue. The Festival payment card can be charged with debit or credit cards and cash.

Will I have to wear a mask at Festival Iminente?

Festival Iminente will respect the prevention rules and regulations in effect concerning COVID-19 at the date of its realization. If it is mandatory to use a mask in events with a large concentration of people on the date of the Festival, then the use of a mask in the venue will also be mandatory.

Will I have to submit a negative COVID-19 test or present a Digital Certificate to enter the enclosure?

Festival Iminente will respect the prevention rules and regulations in effect relating to COVID-19 at the date of its realization.

Are the tickets bought refundable in the case of a new confinement?

Festival Iminente will follow the rules imposed by the Directorate-General of Health and the Portuguese Government. If the organization is forced to cancel the Festival, the tickets purchased  will be valid for the 2022 edition.
