Telmo Galeano is Tekilla, born in Peniche. Of Angolan and Italian descent, he is one of the most influential artists in national hip hop, an essential name in the movement, with a long career that links him to one of the first waves of Portuguese MCs. In 1995 he was already being heard on mixtapes and in various collaborations and was quickly invited by the mythical Encruzilhada Records to record his debut album "Tekillogia" (2004), considered today a classic by the critics. In 2021 he released his fourth album of originals "Olhos de Vidro" through the legendary English label Barely Breaking Even Records (BBE), becoming the first Portuguese hip hop artist to feature in this elite catalogue.
