Hailing from the Cova da Moura neighbourhood, in the municipality of Amadora, Mynda Guevara is 22 years old and carries in her name and attitude a thirst for revolution that is intimately connected with the role, still rather minimised, of women in rap. Her rap, in Creole, is a real and emancipatory form of expression, and has been garnering respect due to the lyrics that reflect Mynda Guevara's role as a woman, of African descent, and rapper within a stratified society. The first song she wrote is titled “Mudjer na Rap” – released in 2014. That is also the title of the EP that will be soon released, produced by Charlie Beats, and whose first four singles are already known: “Vazio”, “Bu Silêncio”, “Ken Ki Fla”, and “Nha Mundo” In 2019, we have also seen her portrayed in Raquel Freire's film, “Mulheres do Meu País”.
