“Queer, trans, black and peripheral. Neither actor nor actress but a(c)trocious. Performer and gender terrorist”: this is how Linn da Quebrada describes herself. Born in Sao Paulo's periphery, she was raised in the interior of the state, in small towns, amid a very conservative environment. She returned to the city of Sao Paulo as an adult where she began performing drag shows in night clubs. In 2016 she released her first songs, a repertoire that despite being short ended up allowing her to do a national tour: “Bixarya”. In 2017 her success grew and the album “Pajubá”, financed through crowdfunding, was released to tour Brazil and several international venues. In the same year she was one of the people portrayed in the documentary “O meu corpo é político” that follows the lives of four LGBT activists. In June 2019 she released the single “Fake dói”, in collaboration with N.A.A.F.I.’s Lao and debuted as television presenter on Canal Brasil.
