One of the best compliments that can be paid to a drummer is to say that, regardless of how many projects they embrace, they are still capable of giving a hand to another band. Such is the case of Fred Ferreira, a drummer we've known for nearly two decades and who, since the days of Yellow W Van, has sat at the drum kit of several dozens of music projects. Ever since, the man who we've grown used to referring simply as Fred, hasn't stopped. From Oioai to Orelha Negra; from Dias de Raiva to Banda do Mar. Until, this year, Fred revealed his first solo work: “O Amor Encontra-te no Fim”, an album of courage, of openness and which he himself defines as being very personal, that makes him feel at home. A record he is now taking to the stage and that represents a journey through the most recent months of the musician who left his “blood, sweat and tears” all over this work in which the entire composition, arrangements and instruments were in his own hands.
