CelesteMariposa is a cultural intervention project with the aim of making Portugal and the world aware of the diversity and quality of music from the five Portuguese-speaking African Countries (PALOP), ignored for too long in Portugal and the rest of the world. Their label CelesteMariposa Discos is focused on releasing and collecting albums from bands from the PALOP. From this research the DJ sets of CelesteMariposa are born, designed to dance, sweat, scream and celebrate the swing of PALOP music, from the 60's until today, from Marrabente to Semba, from Funaná to Gumbé, from Socopé to Coladeira.
