Active Mess is a group composed of 4 elements (Mariana Santos, Jacqueline Monteiro, Edvânia Moreno and Lívia Mendes). They met during a social project that connected them through music and in 2017 they formed the group in the streets of downtown Lisbon. Their initial goal was to create arrangements of songs known to the public and play them in public spaces. Over time, they added songs to their repertoire and today they perform different styles. From pop to regaeton, from Cape Verdean mornas to soundtracks.
