This workshop explored storytelling through the animation of drawings using computer programming. Participants created a short illustrated narrative prepared in several drawings that suggest movement, as if it were a traditional animation. Later, the animation was generated based on programming algorithms created by each participant, using the computer and their digital drawings. The aim was to introduce young people to the world of animation design and programming.

BIO

An Illustrator, in 2008 she completed her degree in Graphic Design from the Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas da Rainha and in 2011 she attended the MA in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. Since 2010 she has been developing individual and collective exhibitions of illustration, as well as numerous other projects in this area: short-run publications, posters, diaries, murals, books, magazines and newspapers.
