Continuing his multidisciplinary line of work in urban art, visual artist Confeere developed a workshop with an impact on the participants and on the community of Bairro do Rego. Over several days, the young participants created a textile piece with the support of the neighbourhood residents (namely Associação Passa Sabi), exploring creative, technical and interventional possibilities. Later, a public place within the neighbourhood was chosen by the group to accommodate the work produced.

Confeere is a Lisbon based plastic artist who has an ample and diversified work inside the universe of street art. His projects make use of different techniques and materials and are always connected to the city’s cultures, expressions and movements. Graffiti and textile are just some of the mediums used by this artist who keeps inviting the viewer’s touch, participation and questioning.
